Responsible Investing
The consideration of Responsible Investing standards form an integral part of NorthWall Capital’s investments approval process.
All potential investment opportunities are assessed against a range of criteria to account for any potentially negative impact as part of our due diligence process, starting with the sector we are investing in.
The firm’s approach to responsible investing is in line with its cultural ethos, high value system and sound ethical principles. The team are dedicated to ensuring that all interactions are undertaken with due consideration to the firm’s moral framework.
This focus starts at underwriting and continues all the way through the investment life cycle.
NorthWall Capital’s Responsible Investing committee is dedicated to promoting best practice in our approach to environmental, social and governance risks. We also work with an external consultant with a view to ensuring our responsible investing procedures are exemplary, and we are able to offer Article 8 disclosures for future fund products.
PRI Signatory
NorthWall Capital is a signatory to the United Nations-supported Principles for Responsible Investment (“PRI”). The PRI is recognized as the leading global network for investors committed to integrating environmental, social and governance considerations into their decision making.
The PRI is the world’s leading proponent of responsible investment. It works:
- to understand the investment implications of environmental, social and governance factors;
- to support its international network of investor signatories in incorporating these factors into their investment and ownership decisions.
As a PRI signatory, we share the networks mission and believe that an economically efficient, sustainable global financial system is a necessity for long-term value creation. Such a system will reward long-term, responsible investment and benefit the environment and society as a whole.
