Gideon Oberholzer
Lead Data Engineer, Tech Team
Gideon joined NorthWall Capital in January 2026. He is responsible for building and maintaining the firm’s data capabilities and supporting the ongoing development of NorthWall’s data platform.
Prior to joining NorthWall, Gideon spent just over four years at Ankura Consulting Group, delivering data and technology solutions across Turnaround and Restructuring, Performance Improvement, FP&A, and Financial Crime. His work focused on designing and implementing data infrastructure to support complex analytical and decision-making requirements.
Earlier in his career, Gideon spent three years at Business Science Corporation as a Data Analytics Consultant, delivering data-driven analytics solutions for major mining clients.
Gideon focuses on strengthening NorthWall’s data infrastructure and AI capabilities to support rigorous, data-led decision-making across the firm.
He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Structural Engineering and a Master of Science in Finance.
