Hamza Ali
Marketing and Communications Manager, Investor Partnerships
Hamza joined NorthWall in June 2026. As Marketing & Communications Manager, he is responsible for the firm’s brand, marketing and communications, working across content, media relations and digital channels.
Prior to joining NorthWall, Hamza was a Senior Account Manager at Edelman Smithfield, the financial communications arm of Edelman, where he advised leading financial institutions including BlackRock, Goldman Sachs Asset Management and the London Stock Exchange Group. This included an extended secondment to Mercer, where he helped develop the company’s content strategy.
Hamza began his career as a financial journalist, working for various media outlets including, Bloomberg Industry Group, CNBC, Citywire, NBC and Environmental Finance.
Hamza holds a BSc (Hons) in Accounting from the University of Hull and an MA in Interactive Journalism from City, University of London.
